The Foo Fighters greatest hits album is set to hit stores on November 11th. Exact track listing has yet to be confirmed for the release which will include two new tracks and will be offered as a special two-disc edition which features a bonus DVD.

Staind is gearing up to release its upcoming sixth album, The Illusion of Progress, on August 19th, and according to the band members, the material may not be exactly what some fans might expect. Guitarist Mike Mushok told Billboard.com that it's "a very different record for us, but better different." Vocalist Aaron Lewis adds that it's "probably the most musical record we've made yet." Staind has been keeping fans updated on the album-making process with a series of videos posted on Staind.com.

Staind is releasing a special edition of the new set featuring three bonus tracks and a one-year membership to the group's fan club. Staind is also allowing fans to pre-order the album via their cell phones with a new mobile Amazon.com promotion.

The groups is currently on the road with 3 Doors Down and Hinder and will head out on a headlining tour this fall. Staind will visit ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight.

Rock Band gamers will soon be able to download new songs from Staind and Scars on Broadway. According to Blabbermouth.net, starting tomorrow (Tuesday, July 29th) the Scars on Broadway song "They Say," will be part of the Rock Band collection. The song, which appears on the group's self-titled debut, will cost $1.99 to download. Also out this week is Staind's new track "This Is It," from their upcoming album, The Illusion of Progress. They will announce a tour with Seether later this year.

Scars on Broadway, the new band featuring System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan, will release their album tomorrow Tuesday (July 29th).
